This Privacy Policy explains how Manmauji Jivatma Pvt Ltd. ("we", "us") handles information when you use the DAN&P mobile app and website. By using the app you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, mobile number and email address, which you give when you register.
- Purchase records: which notes you bought, the amount, the date and the Razorpay payment ID.
- Usage and security data: basic technical information needed to run the app and prevent misuse.
We do not collect or store your card, UPI, net banking or wallet details. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
2. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and verify you with an email OTP.
- To process payments, unlock the notes you buy and show your purchase history.
- To place a watermark with the company name on every page of the notes you read, to discourage copying and sharing.
- To send service emails such as OTPs and account notices (for example if an account is suspended or blocked and why).
- To provide support, prevent fraud and comply with the law.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the app, under their own security obligations:
- Razorpay: to process payments.
- Supabase: secure cloud database and file storage for accounts and notes.
- Our email service provider: to deliver OTPs and notices.
We may also disclose information if required by law or a government authority.
4. Screenshots, screen recording and offline notes
To protect paid content, the app blocks screenshots and screen recording while a note is open.
If you choose Download for offline reading, an encrypted copy of that note is stored on your phone. It can be opened only inside the DAN&P app and only by your account, even without internet. The app checks your access online from time to time (at least once every 14 days) and removes the copy if your account is suspended or blocked, or you no longer have access to the note. You can remove a downloaded note yourself at any time from Downloaded Notes.
5. Data retention and security
We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for legal, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. We use encrypted connections, access controls and database security rules to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
6. Your choices
You can view and update your name and mobile number in the app (Profile). To correct other details, or to ask us to delete your account and personal data, email us at info@manmaujijivatma.co.in. Some records (such as payment history) may be kept as required by law.
7. Children
The app is meant for students. If you are under 18, please use it with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
